I'm New

We're glad you got this far. Maybe your interest in a walk with God is just new, or maybe it has a bit of rust on it. You're here because you see a need and you are wondering if God can fill it. Maybe you resonate with cartoonist, Ralph Burton, when he said,
"I have had few difficulties, many friends, great successes; I have gone from wife to wife, from house to house, visited great countries of the world, but I am fed up with inventing devices to fill up twenty-four hours of the day."
Whether you are venturing out into uncharted spiritual waters or you are tired of religion and trying to find God in all the confusion, we at Harvest want to be there to help.
During the Service
Worship:
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. Our worship team will lead us in a variety of worshipful songs of celebration, some classic hymns, some contemporary songs and several new songs God has blessed our community with. Everyone worships in his or her own unique way - for many, that means raising hands, singing and clapping along, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You're welcome to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Drama and other pieces of art are also often present in the gathering.
Message:
Every weekend, one of our Elders gives a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture, and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. Many past messages are available online. These messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ, and apply biblical teaching to your own life.
Offering:
Each week those who calll Harvest their home make an offering. As a guest, there is no need for you to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives Harvest the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.
Communion:
The first Sunday of every month we celebrate communion together. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer - as long as they've made the decision to follow Jesus Christ. The wine, juice and bread that we share represent the life he gave up so that our sins could be forgiven. We desire to be people of the table.
Kids Programming:
After the worship, the kids are dismissed to listen and learn to their own dynamic interactive message, learning principles that can be lived out all week long. Children are divided into classrooms with age-appropriate teachings and activities, discussing topics that will help them build a solid foundation and strong relationship with God.
Coffee and Fellowship
At Harvest we are concerned about developing relationships. After the worship gathering everybody stays behind to enjoy a coffee and sandwich and get to know each other a bit better. This is often the time when God makes His biggest impact. We invite everyone to join us.
